spring fling

Yaaaaawn… is it spring yet? Oh! It kind of is. With spring comes craft show season. My first one this year is next Saturday. I’ll be at Handmade Harvest in Almonte, Ontario. So, all you Ottawans, come on out to the valley for some crafty action! I’ve been planning to design some fabric for a nice new tablecloth for my booth this season. This is the border design I came up with. The idea is that my D&H bunting would be hanging above the frolicking forest folk, creating a woodsy wonderland party right in my booth! I couldn’t convince myself to order the fabric, though. It’s just so… cutesy. Which is not to say that a lot of my stuff isn’t cutesy, but I thought that this fabric was a little too sweet to be representative of my sophisticated and complex oeuvre. So, my bunting will be decorating unbleached cotton again for this show, at least.
