how to recognise a gnome house, part 2

Apologies for the late posting.  Distractions abound!  Here are some tips to expand upon my PSA from Sunday.  Good luck everyone!

NB: I do not condone gnome hunting, or any hunting, for that matter.  These tips are intended to aid in unobtrusive gnome observation only.

happy poisson d’avril!

I get excited every year as April Fool’s Day approaches. I’m not sure why, though, since I’ve never really fooled anyone, been the fool, or even been witness to an exceptionally great fooling. Still, when noon rolls around each April 1st, I can’t help but feel a little disappointed, like an opportunity has been lost. Maybe Doodle and I will fold up a bunch of paper fish and stick them on some unsuspecting backs this Tuesday morning. “Hi, Landlord! Here’s your rent cheque and… Oooh! Poisson’d!” This is my year, folks! Updates on Wednesday.

Oh yeah, and for all you medievalists and (early) early modernists – happy new year!
